Thank you for taking a few moments of your time to consider a fine Christian couple Travis and Becky Gravley. As a pastor, I know how difficult it is to review the many requests we receive from various missionaries so I often rely on the recommendation of their sending pastor and church.
The Gravleys both grew up in fine Christian homes. Since Travis’ graduation from Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Virginia Beach, Virginia, they have ministered at Emmanuel in many areas. They have enthusiastically embraced the local church ministry and have effectively ministered to families of our assembly. As one pastor to another, would you please take just a few moments to look at their material? If God so moves in your heart to have them present their burden of Romania to your church, they will be a blessing to your entire fellowship. I am confident you will find them to be all that you are looking for in a quality, well-trained, godly young couple.
Thank you for taking time to read my appeal. May the Lord continue to bless your mission’s efforts -- reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Christ,
Pastor Steve Crews

Greetings in Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We have been church planting missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions among the Gypsies of Romania since 2001. It is our goal to put together a church planting team which will enable us to fulfill our Lord’s command among the Gypsies. One of our needs as a church planting team is to provide effective leadership training so that we can complete the church planting process by equipping and placing national leaders in each church plant. Without national leadership, the churches will never be indigenous, self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating local churches.
We would like to heartily recommend for your consideration Travis and Becky Gravley, along with their children, to your church family. Their goal is to actively participate in the church planting efforts of leadership training among the national Gypsies here in Romania. We have asked them to join our team because of their unique gifts which will strengthen our church planting ministry. They will be involved in all aspects of church planting with an emphasis on leadership training so that our church planting efforts can be fully indigenous with properly educated national leaders. They will be an invaluable asset to our team!
Please seriously consider supporting them through your prayers, finances, and encouragement. We are waiting with great anticipation for their arrival here, and several potential national leaders are eager to learn from them. Thank you for your time and your consideration. May the Lord bless your efforts as you fulfill the Great Commission by His Grace.
